Nevisel for organizations

One approved wording for everyone.

Health plans, clinics, law firms and service teams write the same paragraphs thousands of times a day. Nevisel puts the approved version one binding away for every person, keeps it on their own computers, and leaves the governance with you.

Editing a shared snippet in the Enterprise Library, with the change saved to the organization's SQL Server.

Governed, private, ready for AI.

Governed

Your server, your editors, your audit trail.

The shared library lives in your own Microsoft SQL Server. People sign in with their Windows identity, Nevisel stores no SQL passwords, only the editors your SQL Server names can change shared phrases, and every change writes an audit row.

Private

Nothing leaves the computer.

No telemetry, no activation server, and expansion never touches the network. The shared library is cached on each computer and keeps working when the server is out of reach. Notes can be encrypted with a secret phrase.

Ready for AI

Assistants use the wording you approved.

Through nevisel-mcp, assistants such as Claude can look up and fill in personal snippets, read-only unless writes are allowed. Clinical, shared and disabled snippets are never shown to them.

Guard rails

Identifiers stay out of the library.

Nevisel refuses to save snippets, shared phrases, notes and imports that look like a Social Security number, a labelled date of birth or a medical record number, and names the line to fix. It is a guard rail, not a guarantee: it cannot recognise names, so your own policies still apply.

A note refused because line 5 looks like a Social Security number.

Rolls out the way IT works.

  • No installer, no admin rights. On Windows, Nevisel is one signed program that runs in the user's profile. The Mac app is a standard bundle.
  • Configured centrally. Point Nevisel at your server and database through Group Policy, Intune, a login script or per-user settings. Nevisel ships no server names of its own.
  • Works with the drivers you have. The shared library uses ODBC with Windows Integrated Authentication. The SQL Server driver built into Windows is enough; Driver 18 adds encryption by default.
  • Accessible. Every control works from the keyboard, text scales to 250%, and screen readers get labels and live status. Nevisel targets WCAG 2.1 AA.
  • Licensed offline. Twelve-month keys are verified on each computer with a digital signature, with 45 days of grace to renew. There is no license server to run.
  • Documented. Every copy includes the user guide (Help › Nevisel User Guide), with setup for people and for the IT staff who support them, including the shared library chapter.
